I am tired. I had too many late nights over the last few days. There were also a couple of nights when I did not sleep well. So now I am hoping to catch up a little on some sleep, especially before my half marathon next week. I tried to sleep in today, but you know how it is, I could not sleep too much later than usual, though I did stay in bed for almost an hour after I was awake!
When I am tired, it does not matter to me what my bed looks like. Mostly it matters how it feels. I need a comfortable place to sleep. I also enjoy reading in bed. When I come into my room, I do care how my bed looks. It’s nice having a neat, clean bed to crawl into. And when I see the wonderful wooden frame and headboard, I remember the early days of our marriage before we were able to afford new furniture.
But when I am tired to the bone, I don’t care much if I am sleeping on wooden beds, metal beds or even flower beds, I just want a warm, cozy place to sleep and sleep.
