Today we celebrated my daughter and her friend’s birthday a little late. In March, for her friend’s birthday, my daughter gave her a ticket to Phantom of the Opera. I bought my daughter a ticket for her birthday. So today she, her friend, her friend’s sister and mother and I all got to watch the performance! We went early for lunch at Hard Rock Cafe (my daughter’s present from her friend) and then walked to the theater.
The performance was great! The music, the effects and the actors were all spectacular! I loved the way the stage was decorated like an old opera house. I loved the chandlier. The pyrotechnics were just right. And we loved seeing the phantom up on the catwalk and suspended. Our high cheap seats were just fine!
If you ever get the chance to see the show, GO! even if you can only afford the cheap seats.
We desperately need a new computer. This one is not too old, but we did buy it refurbished. That really didn’t work out so well. It’s never been a great computer. And now, it is slow and we lose our internet connection all the time (ok, I am not convinced that is the computer but might even be something about Mozilla, Yahoo and/or Comcast!)
At any rate, a new computer would be nice. As I have no knowledge of all things computer, my first source for info on any subject is the internet. I found out that Geeks.com carries a wide selection of computers, parts, and tons of other electronics too! They even buy close out, excess inventory and overstock from vendors needing to liquidate quickly! You can read merchant reviews for Geeks.com and Geeks.com seller ratings, which is always a good idea when dealing with online businesses.
It has been a busy time around here lately. I feel like I don’t have time to get in all the things I want and need to do. I guess that is the nature of life. And…I have not been getting up early enough. It is so hot and I am so tired….all excuses, but it adds to the feeling of being behind. We start our VBS on Monday. We don’t even have our classes all put together yet! But then, after the last day, my husband and I will head out to a small cabin to celebrate our 22nd anniversary! Next weekend can’t come soon enough!
I cannot believe how tired I have been. I spent a week cooking at a kid’s camp. I have done this for the last six years (another thing I cannot believe!) This year was a little different though. Our head cook had to work this year and was only able to be with us for one day! That’s right, we had to cook the rest of the week without our head cook! It all worked out and we got through and had fun, but we sure missed her!
Upon returning from camp, I could not believe how tired I was! I dragged around all day for two days. I know I was a sight to see. I am sure I needed a little beauty rest and some beauty treatments as well! One thing I am sure I could have used was an eye cream to help deal with the tired, puffy eyes!
I found a site where you can read Eye Cream Reviews before purchasing to learn the best beauty treatment for your eyes. This may well be the largest database for information on eye creams, eye gels, and eye serums. Here you can even submit your own reviews about your favorite eye treatments.
