Last week my son was called out of class and told to report to a certain room. There were several other students there. They were given a card with a name on it. His said Ryan __________ NASA. The students were then told that they would be escorting the community member named on his/her card during the Career Fair. They would miss a little of class time, but had to report back to class when not actually escorting their visitor. The students were nominated by a teacher. We joked that our son was nominated by one of his least favorite teachers! Today is the Career Fair. I am excited to hear how it went.

    yeah, he said it really was. he heard two speakers from NASA (not his visitor though!), a steel contractor, an insurance agent and a traffic flow controller. The most interesting to him was the contractor (self employed) and the traffic controller. made most money, he thinks the insurance agent. good day for end of school year….

    today however is a play day-carnival and faculty basketball game!
