I am glad Granny has been surrounded by those she loved this past week. It is a hard loss for us, but I am glad she was able to go peacefully at the end. In my imagination, I can see Granny entering heaven and saying, "Hey! This new body is in much better shape... so is there anything you need me to do around here?" She didn't like being slowed down by her failing body, did she? It's amazing to me how her heart, mind, and spirit stayed so sharp and so strong while the body that carried it all was failing her. I am glad she doesn't have to suffer through that misery now, even though I will miss her. I checked in here and didn’t see this post earlier.
