what a mom!

I was just putting on my shoes to go to my son’s track meet. He runs the two mile and one mile races. As I was heading to the door, he called, asking me where I am. I said I am on my way. He said, never mind, he just finished running!

They canceled the field events, so the races started earlier than normal! He said I missed his best two mile ever! He finished with an 11:13 in fourth place!

And I missed it! What a mom!

    Kinda sad to miss his best yet, but he will have an even better one coming up.

    I know, it’s a good time (actually it was 11:17, but hey!) his best. I did hate to miss it though.
