“Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.” –John Quincy Adams

Even though I am not sure yet who I will vote for (though I am pretty sure that it will not be either one of the main parties’ candidates), tomorrow is the last day to get registered to vote in this election. There have been times in the past when I just did not vote. And in this election it is pretty tempting. However, I have decided that it is important and I have even decided that voting for a third party is not wasting my vote. It is having my say. It is voting my conscience. It is standing up for what I believe in. How can that be a waste? So if you have not registered and like many others have been tempted to just skip it and not even vote, please reconsider. Have your say. Register tomorrow!

  1. do you know your blog is listed on this blackhat site? blackhatbootcamp.net/listofwordpressblogs/

  2. I wish everyone would resgister and vote instead of letting a small percentage of the population determine the outcome of elections.

I will probably vote for McCain, as an attempt to forestall Obama being able to appoint federal judges and Supreme Court justices. But, as so many times in the past, I will be voting against someone rather than for someone.

  3. I am having more trouble than ever this year seeing the elections as anything more than a big game.

    Sigh.

    a big ugly game, I agree….

my daughter asked me to vote for McCain too. And my son agress that I am “wasting” my vote….

but I do think everyone should register and vote…though I did spend several years sitting out on the vote….

I think whoever “wins” is scary….and as someone said before, i think Montucky, the regular guy is going to be the loser….
