I like Dickens, even if he is a little wordy (and who am I to talk??? I've been accused of being long-winded too).

Great Expectations was the inspiration for my entry into a writing challenge not long ago, and another follow up post. It was on my mind during that time because I was teaching it. I bet your son would have really liked it too.

I have Great Expectations as well (the book I mean) I think my son was supposed to have read that this year too but they never got to it... I may have to start it soon, well, after I finish reading Salt (his assigned summer reading)

thanks for stopping in my new blog. did you take the book quiz?

I have to admit I've never read Dickens, though I have thought about it. Great Expectations and A Tale of Two Cities are on my shelf waiting patiently.
