I had a couple of friends who did this, though it was a big thing during our freshmen year of college. The one I attended was very nice and formal, but also had an open bar. And very um, open-minded bartenders. Just maybe something to talk to your son about.

I knew she picked the right friend when he said he knew this was really important and special to her! I do hope he gets to do it. as for the classes, of course, a room full of beautiful, well conducted sixteen year old girls, of course he will love it!
